Wow, Well. I officially hate acne.
Does your acne ever cross your mind during inappropriate times like.. during sex? during a conversation, or maybe during your class presentation?
Well, It happened to me. I was in Sociology presenting my presentation about the Self Looking Glass Self theory and BDD when all of a sudden the thought of my acne instantly zoomed into my mind. Before I could swat it out and continue with my speech, the thought stopped me mid sentance when I was speaking. I completley forgot what I was talking about, I totally zoned out, and I began studdering. SOOO AWKWARD. I had to pause for like 15 seconds and then stupidly move to the next slide!
It didn't help that I cried immediatley after my presentation and the whole class was staring at me..
Stupid acne..

"These blood red eyes
Don't see so good
But what's worse is if they could
Would I change my ways?
Wasted times and broken dreams
Violent colors so obscene
It's all I see these days
These days"

Acne Distorts My Face
19 November 2012 - 08:03 PM
I already know my face is crooked, but does anyone else feel like acne brings it out even more? I've noticed when I'm not breaking out I'm less likely to obsess about the symmetry of my face, but when I am breaking my face turns into a ugly being. Like a lagoon monster or something. I think it's because of how the cysts and scars look on the face. And also acne draws attention to my face thus it starts the whole paranoia process. this is topic is probably beaten like a dead horse, but I need to know I'm not alone and crazy.
Do You Ever Notice People Staring At Your Acne?
17 November 2012 - 10:58 AM
So, off topic, but I'm hungry and I want to go to the cafeteria, but I'm afraid of awkward moments and going to the cafeteria is one big awkward moment. (When I have no makeup on) Whenever I go without makeup, it's like a free for all staring contest. I'll be talking to someone, and instead of looking at my eyes, I can see their eyes staring at my face, moving from my cheeks to my jaw
and obviously it's because of my acne. It's super awkward!
Does anyone ever say anything?
I did once, when I was getting sick of it. I was at Nordstroms at the Chanel counter and the woman who was helping me pick out perfume wouldn't stop staring at my face. I know she works with makeup and what not, but damn! way to make a customer feel inferior. So I told her, yeah my acne is bad, i am trying to do something about it.
Lol, I think she was a bit baffled. I know it's upfront, but I'm not dumb, and I know when someone is staring at my acne. Don't worry, I said it nicely
I could never be rude to a stranger
SO, that being said, share any stories or moments when you feel like someone is staring at your acne and what you do about it.
wow that's super cute... lol

Has Anyone Else Had A Blood Clot From Bcp?
16 November 2012 - 04:23 PM
Hi there =)
Two years ago I was on BCP and it cleared up my acne wonderfully. I was on a combo of spiro and bcp and using epiduo and finacea gel. I have hormonal nodule cystic acne in my cheeks and jaw area.
Unfortunately, I had a blood clot in my right subclavian vein and I had to be put off of BCP. (I don't smoke, and I regularly exercise) So, Now, my acne has came back with a vengeance I've been on everything but accutane.( they do not want me on accutane due to medical reasons) I was wondering, if there are any other ladies who have been on BCP but had to get off of it and what are you taking now? I don't know if I should go back on spiro, but I'm already on so many medications as it is. I have also taken everything, doxycycline, tetracycline, bactrim, and ect..
Any advice will help =) thankyou!

I Jinx My Acne.
12 November 2012 - 01:50 AM
My acne will be doing great, hardly any break outs. So, if I even say "hm, my skin is looking great" slowly but surely acne will come back and i'll get three nodules and a cyst that day. that's sad! Shall I forever be negative about the way my skin looks so I won't jinx my good results? lol just kidding. but it really happens every single time. =( anyone else have this odd issue?
