Stopped taking my antibiotics for about 2 months now but still using topical 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. I do exfoliate 2-3 times a week now that I have more red marks than active acne.

Still on my antibiotics (doxycycline) using: cetaphil cleanser, benzoyl peroxide 2.5%, and aveeno moisturizer for morning. neutrogena cleanser, antibiotics, differin (topical), and moisturizer for night.

This does seem a bit more dried but during the day my skin still gets really oily. I do use oil blotting sheets, but it's hard to keep the oils under control

If you compare this to my day 29 you can see a slight change. But hey a tiny itty bitty change is better than nothing!

Why do I feel it isn't getting better? Day 1 and day 29 I see no difference still. Is this the "it gets worse before it gets better" stage? if so ughhhhh

I am visiting the dermatologist soon hopefully they shall prescribe me some medication I really am at my breaking point.
