#3350776 Rotisserie Chicken

Posted by whoartthou1 on Today, 07:59 PM

Yes, i would not reccomend chicken. If you want to eat meat, either eat wild caught fish, or pasture raised red meat

I can't give up chicken lol. Is this a problem with organic chicken as well, or just regular chicken?
Arsenic is also in fish, other poultry, rice, drinking water and many other foods. A lot of farmers have stopped using it. If your chicken is "hormone antibiotic free organic" you'll be fine.

I like it when people post links so, here ya go!
This is about arsenic in chicken.

Arsenic is probably in farmed fish, but don't see how it can possibly be in wild caught fish.

Interesting article. I would still stay away from chickens, unless they are on a 100% pasture raised diet.

In most of human history, we did not consume chickens.

#3349381 Reading About Acne = More Acne

I swear, the more information I find out about acne and bad health= the more acne I get and the more depressed/stressed I get.

#3345106 Feeling Really Low

Posted by whoartthou1 on 02 May 2013 - 02:18 PM

I had 2 small pieces of candy the other day, and within a few hours I developed a huge swollen cyst on my face. Any time you are on a strict regimen and you have a "cheat" day, your body will need time to adjust. If you want to have the occasional treats, then I think you should reintroduce them gradually and in small amounts at first so your skin doesn't freak out.

you said that you should reintroduce gradually so skin doesn't freak out.

I am pretty sure 2 small pieces of candy is gradual, no?

#3342549 Less Judgement, Please...

Posted by whoartthou1 on 22 April 2013 - 08:11 PM

TBH, if diet is indeed causing acne, it is so difficult to find out what food it is.

There are people who break out from ANYTHING grain related and dairy related... but can eat processed sausages as much as they want without breaking out

Others only break out from wheat (gluten).

Others only dairy

Others can break-out from a fucking banana (so if you eat 100% safe diet but are still eating bananas, IT DOESNT MATTER, you will get acne if you are sensitive to bananas).

Others from citrus fruits.

Hell, my brother eats hot pockets, sour punch, gogurt, WE ARE IDENTICAL TWINS, and my body acne is worse than his.

I know a girl who breaks out in SEVERE acne from most commercial american dairy. She can eat wheat/grains all she wants but gets no acne from them.

#3341709 The Truth Is The World Is A Sad Place

Posted by whoartthou1 on 19 April 2013 - 12:41 AM

Pardon my language, but **** Yes! The world is a terrible place. Nobody cares for anyone else except themselves. Having acne makes it even more difficult to live in this shitty world because most acne sufferers lack confidence and without confidence the world will EAT YOU ALIVE.

I live in Southern California and it SICKENS ME seeing all these "young" people partying, doing drugs, having a "good time" while there are people on the streets who are in great pain (not only the streets but people are in pain everywhere)... yet EVERYONE looks the other way.

umm, how long have you been on mino for thus far? I HIGHLY reccomend going off of minocycline. Antibiotics cause a whole mess of issues (read leaky gut syndrome), and on top of that, most likely will make your acne come back MUCH worse. What severe side effects have you come across in your research?

#3297601 Help! Is My Boyfriend Not Attracted To Me Without Make-Up On?!

Posted by whoartthou1 on 25 October 2012 - 02:47 AM

I kind of agree with your boyfriend. Acne is understandable if theres good reason for it, almost everyone has had at least minor breakouts, but if you cant justify nor correct why youre getting breakouts then its just not sexy. For me acne is really simple; sure Ive had it often enough but Ive always either dealt with it/not cared/not complained.

Anyway as a kid I imagined Hawaii a tropical paradise and I always dreamt of living there. You say youre pretty, youve got work, youve got something going for you. Theres a lot of useful information on this website about how to deal with acne: Youre in the right place. Good luck.

What the hell does this even mean?!
"but if you cant justify nor correct why youre getting breakouts then its just not sexy. For me acne is really simple; sure Ive had it often enough but Ive always either dealt with it/not cared/not complained."

What does you not caring/not complaining about your acne have anything to do with anything? I am confused raelly

#3297310 I Think I Know Why We Get Acne

Posted by whoartthou1 on 24 October 2012 - 12:57 AM

I think i finally realize why we get acne. It seems to be a combination of a BUNCH of things:

1) Diet, the standard american diet, which is laden with hydrogentated oils, GMOS, hormones.
2) Stress. Modern living is highly stressfull (particularlly in westernized nations).
3) Soap, The amount of soap we use is RIDICULOUS. Body soap, hand soap, dishwashing soap, detergent for clothes. How much of this is being abosrbed into our bloodstream and causing issues? Who knows
4) Insulin spikes from high glycemic load meals (see insulin resistance)
5) Antibiotics and other prescriptions. Advil, antibiotics, etc all seem to cause "leaky gut" and leads to acne and a whole mess of issues
6) Low vitamin d levels

The problem is, even if you finally figure out what is causing your acne, sometimes it isnt as simple as eliminating such factors and eliminating the acne. Your body might be so damaged that it is MUCH harder to repair than damage (and it seems that way for me atm).

I honestly believe if i never ever went to highschool and ESPECIALLY college, i would not have had acne. Why you ask? I washed my hands with soap 2-3 times a day in highschool (didn't want others to think my hands smelled etc), i ate the worst fking food imaginable (at home even though half of what i ate was junk, it wasent as bad as highschool/college food). And the stress that comes with being in hs and college.

It seems to me that you have to literally go against every single NORM you were taught.

This can also explain why some people experience significant relief when going camping, or when travelling. Some of the factors causing the acne was eliminated (but for some, elimination of some factors isnt sufficient)

I forgot to add, it was ridiculous how many times in highschool my peers would basically force me to eat food. If i wasent feeling hungry, since everyone else was doing it, people thought something was wrong with me. If someone saw you not washing your hands, you are "gross"
