Hey everyone! For the purpose of maintaining anonymity, I'm going to introduce myself as Abby. Yes, I am a female.
I remember the day I got my first pimple very clearly... it was right under my lip, and I was in the second grade. At that point, I don't think I'd ever even heard of acne before - but over the course of the next eight years, I would get to know it very well.
I'm currently sixteen years old, and I would label my acne as moderate/severe. I suffer primarily from pustules, but I am no stranger to cysts and nodules as well. Also, my skin texture is just generally below where I'd like it to be.
I've tried a variety of prescription medicines such as topical gels and antibiotics, but I'm currently in the process of exploring more holistic methods of treatment.
Hopefully I'll find the cure for my acne, and sooner rather than later!
