Mabye your skin improved and/or calmed when you did not masturbate because you change something , you perhaps ate different or it was just the time for your skin to improve.I doubt that masturbation can accutaly cause acne or make it worse,there's no medical research on this one,if you want to masturbate ,do it.

I doubt that a tinted moistuizer will cover up the redness, tinted moisturizer is used for people with good skin to make it look flawless.If you want to cover up redness use foundation , I see your a guy , use a wet sponge to control the amount of make up and you'll be fine.

Look after Make up for ever HD foundation it's supouse to be invisible ,it's expensive though.

And hey don't worry about it , it's just a foundation.

Your desperate?You have a very mild form of acne and you say your desperate , think about someone with severe acne ,/+ acne scarring,are they desperate?

Finding a cure in acne is near impossible ,you  can achive long term acne remmision with accutane witch is supouse to be the acne "cure" but you should NOT take accutane, if you want check  the Regimen .

I did read it and let me start by saying that your skin is looking great.

Mabye the darker areas and mostly the redness come from your prior acne and/or a lot of dryness.

You said that after you started moisturizing some of the darkness was going away ,well are you still moisturizing?

Also did you use any hydroquinone?I doubt that isotretinoin does that.

I've  seen your picutres and I can tell what are you talking about but everyone has that more or less.

What does your dermatologist says about this?

Also make sure to be very gentle with the skin and wet your face only 2 times a day no more no less.

I faced no severe side effects.

I'm completly clear in terms of acne , but I do have red marks from the inital break out.

 

 

If you you had moderate -severe acne for 5 years mabye it's time for you to look into Accutane.If Accutane is not an option try the Regimen.

And there is always a way to improve your situation.

I have the 8% AHA and 2% BHA from Paula's Choice , they are great exfoliants but I wouldn't exfoliate on active acne , if you must,try the 1% BHA.

As for the scarring ,there is no point in treating acne scars if you still have/get acne.

There are a lot of tratment for acne scarring that include : Subincision,laser,deep chiemical peels,punch excison,etc.

You do have some dark marks from prior acne too for that I can recommend IPL laser.Or  you just wait it out and once your acne is under control buy the 2% BHA(for daily use) and 10% AHA(for weekly use) and some hydroquinone .

please use moisturiser as per ur needs.

the main cause all the cracks and darkening i had was extreme dryness.

also like i've heard from many members here..some have extremelt dry lips.so they use vaseline every 15 minutres.it depends a lot on the power of med u r having?

i had isotroin 20mg

 and then isotroin 10mg

(isotroin reduces the size of the oil glands and thus reduce oil production.dry and flaky skin is its most common side effect)

Accutane is isotretinoin .

It has a lot of brand names Storet,Clavaris but they are all the same , it's all about how much mg are you taking .

I took 40mg for 8 months.

If lasers fail , I would say that surgery is a good option.

Correction:you will have to wait at least 6 months after accutane is done to do some CO2 or fraxel + deep peels(the gold standard for acne ice pick scars)

Aw thank you for the kind words! I just took my first dose, cried my eyes out HAHA I was sitting there for ages just trying to get the courage to take the damn thing!

My boyfriend said he'd support me with all this and I'm so grateful for him! I know what you mean, but I'd feel soooo much better if I had clear skin, he said he'd never even noticed my skin but I think about it all the time

I'm on my 4th month of tane , I'm eating dairy as hell , I have 2 actives , though I have a lot of red marks from the inital break out but they seem to fade.
Time flies , I'll be following this.
As for your boyfriend , I understand ur concern , but I wouldn't woory to much about your makeup rubbing of because of his pillow haha ,his ur boyfriend after all , if he loves you , he will love you without make up too trust me .

Not all the guys are the same , but there's defenetly someting wrong with this one.
There are so many good guys out there dear,I know it's hard to even think about leaveing him since u were together for 2 years but..it's not worth it.

I don't see how water-base make-up could make ur acne worse , just don't buy make up from an unkonwed brand , sure everyone heard about AVON but in my opinion , that cleanser is way to rough for you , the most rated cleanser is Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, I recommend a rich moisturize I like the CeraVe cream.
I stoped for 2 weeks back in summer , now my skin is 95% clear , but I have all these red marks from the IB , they are fading ,but slowly
Ok now as for the make up , there are good brands out there that have a big rate of breaking you out , (ex . MAC), if you still think that make up could make ur acne worse, then I suggest you go for something more...umm light?Tinted moisutirze,BB Cream.

Umm I just re-read ur blog , and bout' that part with depression , I think everyone has sad/happy moments , but I also know that sometimes sad people express their sadness with suicide,cutting theirself , in my opinion that's wrong cuz' , those moments are temporary , always think twice before you do something in those moments, about those suicide thoughs , don't , it's not worth it .
There is a girl , called Amanda Todd may she rest in peace ,she was only 15 and he commit suicide , watch her story on google/youtube if you like , it may make you feel better.

That's what happen to me dear , my acne wasn't mild at the beginning but wasn't severe cystic either , I started and after 18 days but my face got sooo bad , my derm get me off for 2 weeks and put me on pred and antibiotcs, it's normal for this to happen , I was lucky it was summer time so I spend my time in house, dun woory it will pass , though it will leave red marks, but I notice that the red marks from the IB tent to fade quicker than the rest , I also ordered
Intese gel R-ALA ( so excited ) , umm what I can recommed to you , stick with it !!!!!
Ah and try to use green stuff(like the primer from MUFE  it's expensive but worth it , and mabye a green concealer )
