If you think about it...Paula Begoun's ideology on how to cure acne is pretty reasonable. She uses science to approach the problem.
Reading so much from her ideas from beautypedia and the cosmeticops website has inspired me so much to one day approach it like she did. (Acne.org is also inspirational) But you know, with my own set of products. I'm planning on investing in some of her books.
The more I think about it the more I honestly believe that science can be used as a basis to solve a lot of skin related/health problems. Don't get me wrong, I know what works for one person doesn't mean it'll work for another but yes I definitely agree that science is one way to look towards improving skin itself. My goal right now is to take the right classes (high school), continue the research and do what I can to PROVE it later on in the future.. I feel really passionate about this.
I'm so done with acne, but frankly I don't know where to start, I've tried everything, ( I bet we can all relate huh?) but nothing helps. I spent way too much time researching the damn condition but I feel like I hit a wall, where would you guys think we could start?
When finding your own skin regimen, I think you should start off by figuring out why you have acne, what kind of acne you have and your skin type. Then the trial and error starts with different products.
