Fun facts about me: I diagnosed my mother and I with familiar hyperparathyroidism this year after struggling for years for a diagnosis. So we both had the same disease! Parathyroid disease is when your parathyroid glands ( NOT thyroid ) grow tumors and cause problems like osteoporosis and other 'fun' things. In my research is is debatable whether it causes acne; however I'm still looking into it. Ask me anything you want to know about parathyroid disease!
