for those type of scars you will probably need to inject something in there.
I forgot what they are called. I think they are called "fillers"

sometimes you just gotta give up and go to accutane or else risk spending years of your life trying to get clear which can only result in your scars becoming more severe.

it's perfectly reasonable to question "Why???"

Then you turn to science and find the scientifically tested acne fighting methods, I would recommend going to a dermatologist as your first step.

You're korean and im 100% positive they have universal health care so price shouldnt be a issue unlike the Americas.

My suggestions would be to take your dermatologist advice above anyone elses on this websites including mine.

They will probably put you on 2-4 antibiotics and there is a loophole. If they do work just stop taking them 1-2 weeks prior to your visit to the dermatologist to give you a break out. Ultimately your goal should be to go on those couple of antibiotics and get accutane. Antibiotics have the risk of antibiotics resistance bacterium which can be very deadly that is why i dont like this as a long term solution.

To my knowledge only dairy has been scientifically linked to acne but since you seem to have already messed with your diets I dont think this has been much of use to you.

The most important part i want you to take from my entire post is this, MANY PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM fail to learn that genetics plays a huge role in acne. You can do all you'd like to mess with your acne, if you are genetically predisposed to acne and have tried everything you should really consider accutane. To know if you'res is genetic just look at your brothers/sisters and your 1st cousins. And if a decent percentage get zits there is a good chance your acne is genetic.

Good luck, this is the conclusion i have to come after suffering acne for 8 years. Hopefully I will be put on accutane in 6 weeks.

your scarring isnt to bad, and congrats on clearing up!
You could give it a few more months for the hyper pigmentation to fade completely, just keep exfoliating to speed up the process. I can see some scarring and if it really bothers you, you could try co2 laser resurfacing but alot of Doctors will be on the fence because you are a darker skinned individual. Good luck and make sure to keep us updated on your progress.

In Topic: The Depth Of Dermis

well some scarring is deeper than other scarring,
The epidermis is about .3mm thick (scarring does not happen in the epidermis because your skin will simply shed it off). and the Dermis is about 1.7 mm thick and this is where the scarring occurs. Combining the epidermis and dermis you can see why some people will get procedures that penetrate atleast 2mm deep into the skin.
