In Topic: "acne No More" Is A Horrible Scam

11 March 2013 - 01:07 AM

Thanks guys for replying.  I hear you both and I feel your pain, because I've been there and it was awful.

Aside from the eating disorders, psychotic attempts to "purge" your liver and juice cleanse, and being completely consumed by this lifestyle, one of the worst parts is the way it totally diverts you from using treatments and medicine that will actually work and help you.  This book actually encourages you to stop all creams or prescriptions.  It's such a load of crap.

In Topic: Does Dan's Bp Have An Expiration Date?

I just recieved my 8oz bottle, and there is no expiration date or manufacturing date on it.  Any suggestions?  They don't seem to reply to any questions I submit which is rather disheartening.

In Topic: Heal Your Digestion, Heal Your Acne!

26 February 2012 - 05:11 PM

I'm sorry, but this is total nonsense.  In my experience, there is no connection.  I've read every thing there is to read about this, I've tried everything, and its nonsense.  The hollistic community is just trying to push a life-style and sell vitamins supplements/probiotics.

I'm not saying taking more care of your gut and watching what you eat isn't beneficial to your health, but it wont have any effect on your acne.  I'm so tired of these people trying to convince acne sufferers of this. It's just not true.  Don't make them convince you that you have bad digestion, "leaky gut", crohn's disease,  or anything else. Most of the people hear, I'm sure, are relatively young.  Don't make them push crap like lecathin or other supplements on you.  Just go to the dermatologist.  Be patient w/ topicals and oral meds.  Use common sense.  You don't all of a sudden have anything wrong with your digestion.  You have acne, thats it.  Some people have flawless skin, some don't, it's that simple.  Please don't buy into this crap.....luckily there are sensible things you can do to treat your acne...Dan's regimen is one of them....other topicals or meds are other options, and the best thing is COMMON SENSE.....be calm, and just use your common sense....don't over-react and convince yourself you have this disorder or that, and don't subject your body to this irrational treatment....

In Topic: Best Way To Wipe Oil Away During The Day?

11 February 2012 - 08:33 PM

Hey zazaszai, yes i do moisturize.  I find it necessary to remove oil throughout the day or else I'm really really shiny, especially in my T zone.

I'll try patting rather than wiping, thanks for the advice.

anyone else able to address this concern? thanks.
