I am a driven sales person in the banking industry. I am in my mid 30's, married with 2 young daughters. For many years I lived off unhealthy food, a lot of soda (little water) and lived a high stress life. I am still a goal oriented person, but today I find myself searching for balance in my life and trying to make healthier decisions for me and my family. I was 32 when my body decided enough was enough. At that point my health, my skin and my emotions took the best of me and for the next 3 years I searched high and low for my cure. In early 2012, I found my team of health advisers and my health (both physical and mental) and my skin has been improving rapidly.
With the help of my team I was able to return to a lower stress life and a more social life that would allow me to reintroduce most foods. What I had become aware of is that I had acid reflux and that there was a strong correlation between my acid reflux and my acne. I found signficant improvement in my digestive issues when I stopped eating after 5pm. I would eat most of my calories for breakfast and lunch and then eat a small dinner at 5pm. I also read about the effects of Chloramine in my drinking and showering water. At my local health food store I had found bottled spring water that had triple reverse osmosis and a PH level of 9.5. I began drinking only this water and noticed a huge difference. I also installed a carbon water filter on my house to remove the Chloramine and other water contaminants from the water I shower and cook with.
May 2013 Update - No longer hungry, as my diet is much more regular and fulfilling. Acid reflux is gone and sinus allergie issues are drastically reduced. Began a bootcamp workout routine (which I had stopped prior because my acne and acid reflux were worse with working out) and actually get the opportunity to drink alcohol socially about once a week. For scar treatment In February I began using Nerium at night and in April I began using NewGel+ during the day. My face is looking so good. I am trying out a few more new options, as I am still getting mild acne. Considering the way I now eat, workout and drink, a couple new small blemishes a week is not a big deal. I have some new stuff that I am trying out and I will post again in a few months if I find more success.
