Spinach, kale, cucumber, banana, some rasberries, and just a little bit of oats for texture, and water obviously. As the weeks go by, I'm removing more fruit, and adding more greens as I get used to the taste.

I've been drinking a green smoothie a day for the last two weeks, I've also started antibiotics and a new topical. I'm seeing results, but, not sure from what!! Either way, I have way more energy, and overall feel a lot better.

It's nice to see that a company actually takes the time to send a personal, and informative reply.

If someone cares about my acne, then would I really want to potentially spend the rest of my life with them? I think not. I sort of use it as a filter.

I've been battling my moderate acne for over a year now. Dan's regimen definitely helped prevent breakouts, but left my face feeling dehydrated, and very red. I'd almost rather have a few breakouts and normal toned skin, then what I had. So, I decided to change it up a bit and go natural.

I've been off BP for a week, and I'm breaking out slightly, but not red anymore.

I made my first green smoothie this morning. One word. Delicious, and it was completely unexpected. I went with a very simple one to start with, baby spinach and banana. It looked like the most disgusting thing I've ever seen, but decided to try it anyways. Delicious. I cannot wait to make another one later today, and tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the tips everyone! I'm hoping this is the key to my clear skin.

The way I see it, your acne isn't going to get any better if we lock ourselves away, might as well attempt to live life to the fullest.

Hershey's cookies and cream bars are the best candy ever.

#3170264 When To Begin To Increase Bp

Thank you! I'm having similar results. Extreme clearing the first 3-4 days, and now the dryness is creeping up on me, with a small breakout. Nonetheless, I still am shocked and how well this is working! Fingers crossed.

#3168569 Moisturizer Causing Breakouts?

Posted by dmb41 on 14 October 2011 - 08:28 AM

For the first couple days on the regimen my skin looked awesome. Now, on my 4th day I'm starting to break out.

It has happened to a lot of people from what I'm reading on the forums. All we can do is stick it out and stay with it.

Perhaps trying to use more moisturizer. When I started using the regimen I used the full 2 pumps and my skin thanks me now. It seems like a lot but its necessary to help combat the effects from bp.

#3167619 My Dkr Log

Posted by dmb41 on 11 October 2011 - 08:34 PM

Hello everybody!

Well a little background first may help.

I started getting acne at about 15 or 16 years old, figuring it was just the phase everybody goes through. I began working at McDonald's for a part time job to start saving up for a car. I worked there for almost 3 years. I believe my time their contributed to the acne problem I have know. I believe being in that environment, of grease and oil everywhere, with the combination of me eating it led to my acne problem. At age 17, I began smoking which also probably led to my acne problems.

Long story short, I moved on from that job and are suffering the consequences today. I also quit smoking, it will be 3 months at the end of October. I'm 20 now, almost 21 and will be going to a part time police academy starting in January/February and will be graduating towards the end of next year. My goal is to be 100% clear by graduation.

I have tried everything in the book, ProActive, AcneFree, etc. Like I said before, I quit smoking, had made extreme diet changes, and began to workout and run as much as I can. I began taking Zinc, as well as fish oil supplements to combat my acne. I have been using a mild SA cleanser with CeraVe moisturizer the 3 or 4 months and have seen changes, but nothing to brag about.

I gave in and ordered the start kit from the website, and tonight will be my first night using it. This is a journey I could not wait to get started, and hopefully it show me some results in the future. I will be collecting pictures along the way.

I'm glad to be a part of this community!
