In Topic: Pmd Personal Microderm, Does It Work?

I posted a topic on it recently with photo's. It won't help indented scars just hyperpigmentation. It made my indented scars look deeper (it was a temporary effect). They are still there and just as deep as before I used the machine.

Nevermind. Tried it and it's awesome. Tingled a bit (it has like 5% glycolic acid) but once it came off my face felt soft as a baby's butt. I'm using this to prepare my skin for my peel...going to do one more of these, then wait a week, then do the glycolic peel (30%), wait a week then do 12.5% TCA peel.

In Topic: Need Help With The Derma Roller 1.5 And Tca Face Peel

I was just reading the study and it says they did subcision first then rolled and did the TCA. I wish I hadn't spent so much on  micro and chemical peels which weren't even TCA (combined amount up to $1500)...would have gotten subcision instead and did the peels at home for waaay cheaper!

In Topic: Need Help With The Derma Roller 1.5 And Tca Face Peel

I just came across this study. I've only had time to read the abstract and skim the rest. From what I gather, they alternate from the peel (15%) and needling every 2 weeks for 6 sessions. I'm going to try this to see if it works on the rest of my scars. Rolling has worked on most of the older ones but there are a few that haven't had any improvement. replace every 6-8 months.

Hope this helps and hope it answers your question:

Oh I just realized that you are looking at the less pricey rollers. I use a Dr. Roller 1.5mm. It costs about $40-45 and is very well made so it lasts 6-8 months but cheaper made ones will have to be replaced sooner...like every 4 months. Make sure the needles are staggered.
