Hey Acne.org, I'm trying to incorporate vitamin supplements into my daily regimen for acne. Although, I'm really confused about which supplements (and how much of it) to take. I narrowed my options down to 3 main supplements that I feel have the greatest effect against acne with minimal side effects.
1) DIM (Diindolymethane): This supposedly stops acne in about a week by destroying bad estrogen and balancing your hormones. However, I heard it was only temporary.http://www.acne.org/...pic/187299-dim/
2) Vitamin D/D3: This is the sunshine vitamin. This produces the effect of being exposed to sunlight longer. http://www.acne.org/.../704/page1.html
3) Vitamin A: Not exactly sure how this works but I heard it is a strong acne fighter. http://www.acne.org/.../486/page1.html
Do you guys have more knowledge on which supplements to take that have worked for you? Thanks!
