Have been fighting acne since I was 12 years old,I am really fed up. I have taken Accutane(Roaccutane) twice,once I had to resign because I associated my increased body temperature with the drug.The second time I decided to give it a chance when I was 18,I took the whole dose prescribed by the doctor,it took about 9 months but the dosage was low.The acne was gone for 2 years(only minor breakouts sometimes).Since 2008 I have been looking for something else than Accutane because the dry eye has tormented me long after Accutane and I also have had delicate knee joints' pains for  a year now and this may be due to Accutane treatment (though I can't be sure as I have only had them for a year).Since 2008,year after year,my acne has been worse..I have been on and off some drugs like Yasminelle(this was only for contraeption but helped a little),Tetralysal,Doxyciline,Dianette..and all the topicals.Now I am testing Spironolactone-50mg daily. Also recently I found out that I have some hormone's irregularities -high prolactine,DHEA-s and androstendione.So I am looking forward to have more tests to expplain the source of those irregularities and to find cure that I strongly believe,will cure both my hormones and acne.
