Since the scar treatment market has been said to be a billion dollar market, and if a cure/treatment actually had been found (in the form of resveratrol or something else available), why isn't there someone looking to cash in on this? Getting to the bottom of it? Finding out the correct dose, usage etc and starting marketing it for this purpose and selling it? The paper from the Chinese researchers came out over a year ago. The conclusion of the paper more or less plainly states that "resveratrol is a potential agent for scar treatment". It's one thing to develop a new drug. It's another thing to use something that's already approved and for sale. That should be much easier. Since it's not happening, I suspect something is wrong, or not as easy as it seems.
What about using it topically ? !!
