Any Help Or Advice Please? [Pic]

11 April 2014 - 10:47 AM

Hey everyone,

I have three main problems with my skin:

1. Wake up with oily skin. Go in the shower then my skin is really dry afterwards, then by mid morning I'm back to being really oily

2. Lots and lots of open pores and blackheads

3. Uneven red skin and complexion

I've had this for close to 6 years now and I'd really like some advice on what to do.

At the moment I'm doing the oil cleansing method with Jojoba oil and Grapeseed oil but I'm not seeing much of a difference.

Here's a picture for reference: http://i.imgur.com/z9mYDmV.jpg

It actually looks worse in person, I think the camera flash masks this a bit.

Thanks

Blending Vegetables

02 March 2014 - 02:29 PM

Hey guys,

So I recently read this thread: http://www.acne.org/...6-years-try-it/ which talks about juicing vegetables everyday in order to maintain vitamins in the body for clearer skin.

However, what I have been doing is blending multiple vegetables every day then microwaving the contents and eating it.

What I wanted to ask was to save me blending every day could I just blend a ton of vegetables at the start of the week and store the contents in an airtight plastic box in the fridge? Would this somehow lessen the vitamin intensities?

I also heard that cooking vegetables lessens their intensity as well.

Could anyone please give me some advice?

Thanks

For Those That Have Cut Out Gluten

29 December 2013 - 06:11 PM

Hey everyone,

I'm about to start a diet of no gluten and was wondering if anyone had tried this and whether it has helped them with their acne / oily skin?

It seems like I've tried everything but nothing works so I said to myself, why not? I've also cut out dairy from my diet but I haven't seen any change.

Hormones Causing Oily Skin

27 October 2013 - 12:41 PM

I am 23 years old and male.

My acne is:

1. Reddish, uneven skin tone

2. Large pores and blackheads on forehead, nose and cheeks

3. Occasional break out of whiteheads

My skin is oily ALL the time. It doesn't matter about diet, exercise, supplements, topical cream etc.

I have now put this down to it being my hormones that are creating all this oil.

I believe that if I can get my hormones stable then my face should clear up a lot.

When I was 16/17 I didn't have any acne problems at all.

Is anyone else in this position where they believe it is strictly hormones that are producing oil and therefore acne?

Could someone suggest something I could do. I'm at a loose end.

Help About What This Is? [Pic]

08 September 2012 - 04:28 AM

Hey everyone,

My face have been red and covered with lots of red dots for years and I'm wondering what is could be. Does anyone else have this? My skin tends to be quite dry but moisturizer doesn't help get rid or calm the redness or dots.

Here is a picture below, unfortunately I don't have a good camera but my face is actually redder than this and the dots are more visible.

Thank you
