I'm 26, about to be 27 at the end of this month. Just finished 'tane, so I'm not currently acnefied, but there's always the chance that it will come back. So, I consider myself still an ance battler.

I'm 27 but look much younger....so the acne makes me look like a high-school kid, which you would think might be nice...but no...it's really annoying! hehe Getting carded is even worse because I used to have clear skin and my ID looks nothing like me anymore :(

What I'm Using:

AM:

-Washing with water only (5 splashes warm, 2 splashes cool) =)

-Moisturizing with Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15 <---love it, love it, love it

-Using Revlon ColorStay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin

PM:

-Washing with Olay Daily Facials Clarity Foaming Cleanser (with S.A.)

-Moisturizing with Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15

-Using Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment

-Spot-treating scars with Mederma

I'm 29. I wish my acne hadn't just come back with a vengeance after 4 years of nearly acne-free bliss. It's been like a stealth attack, out of nowhere, suddenly it is all over my face.Thank God for this site...it is the best. You guys are the best - reading all these posts, I finally feel comforted, like I'm not the only one dealing with this...which is that it sometimes feels like, walking around...why does EVERYONE seem to have clear skin?

I'm 24. I never knew that acne could continue after puberty until I started reading on these boards. Finally I realized this is something I will never grow out of and I need to take action and get my life back again!

Twenty-five, my acne started around age twenty-two or so. I never had probs in high school. At least not enough to warrant the concern I have now. Blah.

Regimen for the last six months.

Desert Essence Wash w/Tea Tree Oil (morning/night)

Tazorac .05 (night)

Keflex Antibotic

I'm 25 years old, had acne in varying intensities since my late teens. Usually pretty mild, but sometimes moderate and I have had some slight cystic acne as well. Currently taking Bactrim, Duac and Finacea. I haven't had an lesions appearing in about a month, so I am hopeful that I will be able to get off the Bactrim soon.

I hate acne so much. I keep hoping I will grow out of it eventually. I eat right, I exercise, and I rarely if ever miss doses of my medications.

Hi BettyBoop,

I am 47, was on accutane 3 times and not sure if I should try it again. It helps for a while, but then it comes back. I keep thinking that this will go away. Have you always had continual break outs, or do they come and go? I had a long period of time with no break outs, and now they are back again. I am thinking of using BC pills because they helped in the past.

I am also checking into Fraxel for my rolling scars.

Don't want to upset anyone, but I'm going to be 60 next fall. It came back, and I'm on accutane again....

just for curiosity sake, let's see where everyone is.

I'm 36.

25 here, Sometimes I think I'm still a teenager as I'm still dealing with teen problems such as our common problem in here known as acne.

We need a cure for this acne problem sometime before 2020

My Daily Tweaked Regimen

Morning/Night:

1. Wash with Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar - Pay dry, wait 5 Min's Day/Night

1.2. Apply Neutrogena Clear Pore Mask - 2 Times a Week/Night

2. Apply Dan's CSR BP Gel - Morning/Night - wait 10 Min's Day/Night

3.1 Apply Eucerin Skin Renewal Moisturizer w/ SPF 15 Day Lotion

0.4 Use Murad Acne Spot Treatment - When Needed/Rarely

Oh ya one other thing drink water throughout the day 64oz/8-10 glasses
