Accutane Price?

41 posts in this topic

If you live in the US, expect to pay a lot. Heck, it may be cheaper to take a little vacation to another country. I hear if you have a prescription for a drug, you can buy it anywhere, so if for some reason the airport found the drugs, it would be OK because you have a prescription for them....not that I think the dogs sniff for accutane.

It really depends what company you buy from. You can get 100 pills for 111$ dollars at 20mg at PlanetDrugsDirect, but get 30 pills for 119$ dollars also at 20mg from Global Drugs direct. It just depends.

I miss you

Miss you bad

I don't forget you

I hope you can hear me

I remember it clearly

The day, you, slipped away

Was the day, I found it won't be the same

I didn't get around to kiss you

Goodbye on the hand

I wish that I could see you again

I know that I can't

I've had my wake up

Won't you wake up

I keep asking why

And I can't take it

It wasn't fake it

It happened you passed by

Now you're gone

Somewhere I can't bring you back

The day, you, slipped away

Was the day, I found it won't the same

The day, you, slipped away

Was the day, I found it won't be the same

I miss you

The cost of Accutane without insurance is enough to give one a heart attack. I paid $535/mo. for the actual drug in generic form. On top of that (if you're a woman) you have to pay the doctor to see you each month, a pregnancy test each month, potential lab tests, and the requisite visits the months prior as well as after taking the drug.

Recently I saw a Canadian website that provided generic Accutane for $70/mo with a prescription. I'm not sure if a US doctor will write a prescription for Accutane without subsequent enrollment in the online monthly prevention program and monthly personal evaluation. In the US, the Pharmacy has to be in on the program on their end, making rural users SOL. The site claims that purchasing from Canada in 3 month installments is permissible.

Despite the cost, since I have taken the drug multiple times and it is the only effective treatment I have found in 20 years with acne, it is worth it for me and the results generally last a prolonged period of time.

I'm taking ZENMED Derma Cleanse Capsules instead of Accutane, it's a heck of lot cheaper and it's all natural. Seems to be working good on me, It's been 3 weeks and so far so good.

Everyone is just talking about the actual price of the pills what about the labs that have to be done every month and the monthly derm visits they add way up. My labs don't cost me anything because of insurance but without insurance my labs alone would cost me $400 and when I picked up my monthly supply of accutane at walgreens my receipt read your insurance company saved you $530 my co pay is only $3 for meds. I have great insurance!

:naughty: Don't throw your money down the drain into the non-existent U.S. healthcare "system."

 I did a full regimen of generic Indian Accutane for $400 (I probably overpaid too.) The product is called Cipla Isotroin -- you'll have to buy it in another country (or online.)

 Be extra careful and read all the precautions. Accutane HAS SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS, and you should do a liver test if you can afford it. If you're not a zillionaire, you'll have to skip the liver test and deal with the fact you're a second class citizen.

 Cipla's semi-pirated generic Accutane has done me wonders. I didn't see the sun for five months, but it's turned my life around.

You need to be sending me a pm detailing these "other" ways.

:)

I would like to learn more about this as well... How long do you have to take this medication? I too do not have insurance...

DO NOT BUY ACCUTANE ONLINE AND WITHOUT BEING MONITORED BY A DERMOTOLOGIST!

It is extremely dangerous and many people have been burnt by doing this - including me. Go through the right process, see you GP ask for a Derm referral and go from there.

My insurance saved me $650.00 a month and I paid a $10 co-pay. So you figure I was on the treatment for 6 months and it cost $660.00 a month, $660.00*6=$3,960.00 for a 6 month course.

Do not buy Accutane online without a prescription. Do not discuss buying it without a prescription on this forum. Read the board rules.

PS: The thread is THREE YEARS OLD.

Topic closed.

Take responsibility for your health; read the full prescribing information for any medication you take and understand that not all risks or potential side effects will likely ever be fully known.
