My naturopath makes his own homopathic meds. and for my surgeries he makes me a remedy called Traumeel (it contains arnica and many other important homopathic remedies for healing any trauma)
Also with cod liver oil it's important to stop 7 days prior and 7 days after, because it can thin ones' blood as with garlicl as mentioned.
With one of my cosmetic procedures I took copious amounts of Vit.C, colostrum, MSM and bromian my surgeron was amazed at how quickly I healed.

My last surgery was with a dif. plastic surgeon and he stressed that taking arnica and vit.c could hinder the healing and the results, which I think was pretty silly, but like an idiot I actually for some strange reason I actually listened to him. Surprise surprise I healed so slowly. (even though I was drinking massive amounts of freshly made juices and taking green powder.
And needless to say my results were awful.
So, for my next surgery I will be doing what I believe is helpful for healing quickly along with a new surgeon! eusa_dance.gif

my god, if u eat this much pills you'll be like a nuclear reactor. And people stop following threads blindly, use your brain before you stock all this shit..

Although i hope it works..

Hi!! Actually since theones listed are natural they should be fine. Taking natural supplements rather than chemical ones are always a better option smile.gif

What can be taken to help skin heal hyperpigmentation and a dent following
5fu and steroid shot in face. I am desperate to help myself heal this.
Do you think massage can help?

Just wanted to add that i think red wine extract/grape seed extract is a very good supplement for people undergoing scar revision, as is curcumin. I take both every day...

I find the recommendation of sea salt to be a bit odd since it can contribute to edema. Is there a substitute that someone can recommend?

Hmm, A bit confused on this info, regarding the MSM

So is MSM contraindicated for skin healing following surgery, for better healing or not???

Anyone in the know?
