Here are some I found of particular interest :

BP 5% vs chloroxylenol (PCMX) 0.5% plus salicylic acid 2%

12 weeks 2003

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...8455&query_hl=1

BP 5% vs chloroxylenol

8 weeks 2000

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...1963&query_hl=1

Water Based BP 5% vs Alcohol Based BP 5%

8 weeks 1986

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...3613&query_hl=1

5 different regimens

18 weeks 2004

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...0805&query_hl=3

I think studies are interesting when the people don't know if there getting a placebo or not, I often wonder how much wishful thinking and mood affect the percpetions of improvements etc.

Almost everything I read about these medical publications regarding acne talk about the worries of new emerging resistant strains of p. acne

So maybe that's why this process is so never ending, things only ever work for a short time perhaps, grr.
