Hey roon, yeah im takin burdock at the moment. Having good results. but basically the main idea of my regime is to take it easy on my liver. I cut down the amount of toxins i feed my body. But the burdock is great...it pushes the liver to do its job... this is wot i take

I've been taking burdock root for awhile, and my face is getting better...slowly. Its been over a month now. But to be honest I have also been doing other things as well so I am not sure what exactly is helping or if it is a combination of everything. But I'm not stopping anything I am doing since it seems to be working so far. Basically I'm doing similar things as manolis_04, by getting rid of as many toxins in my body as I can. (but some things I just can't give up. lol) I'm also eating raisins everyday. I did B5 for over a month before the burdock, and I hardly got any results from the B5. Actually I'm not sure if I even did. Whatever I'm doing now is working muuuuuuch better so far and its cheaper. I actually woke up to an ENTIRE clear back today! That hasn't happened in five years. I'm so happy. Just wish it got rid of my scars too. lol. However, my face is not entirely clear yet. I'm only taking two burdock pills a day...I took more the first few weeks like 4 a day, then gradually less for just maintance. Besides its a lot less hassle taking only a pill or two a day, rather then 20 with B5. I hope this keeps up and is not a fluke.

This is what I'm taking

Good luck!

Hey roon Iarephel has got the right idea. In order to control your acne you need to reduce the amounts of toxins you put in your body so that your liver isnt overstressed. Examples would be if u smoke i suggest u stop now!! ciggerete smoke is the most concentrated form of free radicals. The fumes are even dangerous for non-smokers. Now also u want to give your Liver a hand in nuetrilizing those toxins...So introducing fruit rich in anti-oxidants such as strawberries and kiwis would be a good idea. Burdock root is known to be one of the best blood purifiers so it reduces the amount of work the liver has to do. Milk thistle is supposed to be really good too. remember the key in controling acne is to do with your liver... If the liver is overstressed you will have acne, because it is unable to filter toxins in the blood fast enough. So diet is an important factor. Here are some websites that should help u get the idea more.

I have been taking it ever other day at the moment, not to sure if its working or not, im also drinking a lot of carrot juice, that stuff really really does help. Well it works for me anyway. Not sure if the Burdock is a placebo or not?! I always get that with most herbs etc, doesn't help that i don't stay on it long, but because my acne has become less frequent i don't take all this stuff as much as i should continuely do so...
