As you know, I was a severe acne sufferer, and facials ... well, are for the face. I get zits anywhere acne wants, and a cyst in my armpit realy hurts.

Did anyone get one there?

Did you ever had a zit in your armpit before this? are you sure it is a zit??
..it could be a swollen lymph node.

It could be a deeply embedded ingrown hair. I got one before I just left it alone for awhile and it went away.

I still have it and it hurts, especially when I spray my deodorant body spray in it.

Your deoderant body spray is probably alcohol based...that is why it hurts.
IMO for the time being while you are dealing with this armpit zit...I would suggest you switch to a creamy based deoderant...like a roll on.

I hate to tell you this...your forehead " tatoo" fell off !!!!.... lol.gif

Like another poster said previously, it might not be a cyst. I periodically get swollen hard spots in my armpits (hasn't happened recently, but it happens maybe 1-2 times per year). They're really painful to touch, and hence it hurts to shave and put on deodorant. If it's the same thing I had, it'll take about a week for it to go away. I never went to the doc, but I think it's a swollen lymph node.

Ok, thanks ... I'll just wait ... and you are right ... it doesn't seem like it has pus nor anything inside ... but I don't want to try and see.
I'll leave it alone

Oh, yeah, I took the '18' tattoo off jaja.

I agree with the quoted post. It could very well be a swollen lymph node which could lead to more serious problems. I would suggest that you go and see a doctor to rule out that possibility and to make sure that it is indeed a cyst.

YES...GOOD News.. your bump sounds more like a ZIT(cyst) than a swollen lymph node...if a white tip is forming...it is definiately NOT a Lymph node... relax. eusa_angel.gif

Haha, this is kind of funny because I tried this product once called certain dri which is supposed to keep you from sweating so much. Anyway, I used this product and it clogged all the pores in my armpits, and I thought they were just zits but it turned into a whole bunch of hard deep bumps, like a whole bunch! When I went to the doctor (I didn't want to go and I waited at least a week but it was incredibly painful, I couldn't drive because it hurt to move my arms), the doctor was laughing at me and said it was the strangest thing she had seen in a long time. I had to get antibiotics because it had turned into a staph infection.

But I wouldn't worry if I were you, it should probably go away....our bodies do really weird things.....but if it gets bigger and spreads maybe see your doctor.

It is funny that you mentioned that...I always use "Secret" stick antiperspirant because I love the scent... Last summer I purchased a new stick, used it and the next day my armpits were on fire with an itchy rash..talk about embarrassing..LOL the itching was intolerable..I looked like a monkey scratching..LOL lol.gif My daughter was making fun of me..making oooooh, oooooooh. monkey noises.

Little did she know SHE used the same stick, the next day she was inflicted with flaming armpits too...we looked like a couple of morons... eusa_shifty.gif LOL

Anyways...after 3 days my rash went away...hers persisted, I had to take her to the doctor, she was put on steroids...what a mess.
I have a feeling this stick was part of a bad batch...I still use Secret and never had the problem again.. smile.gif I should have contacted the company..but didnt. eusa_wall.gif

Zitro...dont use that deoderant spray until your cyst is gone...otherwise you are going to make it worse.

Ok, it got much better, doesn't hurt anymore and is more like a normal red mark after a cyst.

Don't know if this was mentioned but my mom gets cysts on her arm pit areas or underarm areas. Her GYN told her it could be hormone related. I get very painful ones in the groins of my legs.
