Where does all the fat come from in Ramen Noodles?

7 posts in this topic

I'm a novice at this sort of stuff, but I was just wondering, if I ate just the noodles without the seasoning will I be avoiding all that fat?

The powder sauce carries all the sodium. The noodles have all the fat because they are precooked by deep frying. Bulk deep frying so the oil is usually rancid(THink Fast food fries where the workers don't change the oil).

Either get a brand that isn't precooked or is cooked in a more low fat way or stick to other noodles.

You can order non fried Ramen from Westbrae. 1 gram fat from natural occuring substances.
