I have been following what is called a healthy diet for a year now. I had severe acne, but I had a course of accutane to rid myself of it, but to maintain my good skin, I resisted temptations and had fat-free (no cheese, milk, chocolate, etc...) and sugar-free foods. No one tells you to do this, ESPECIALLY not dermatologists. But I am now, with a clear skin... of course every now and then i get a small bite of "junk" food ... but not more than 3 times a month... and it feels great to eat well and it reflects itself not only on your skin, but improved energy and vitalization on a day to day basis. Many times a coarse of Accutane will cure 98% of people, but the people with really severe acne might have to go on another coarse. Who cares if hes clear?

Of course you're clear if you eat well.
