I have also been taking a Zinc/Copper tablet with 15mg Zinc and 0.75mg Copper. I have run out of these and all I can find now is a 50mg Zinc and 2mg Copper combo tablet.
Is taking 70mg a day of Zinc unhealthy and bad for my system. How much copper would I have to take to counter-balance the Zinc?
So currently I will be taking 70mg Zinc and 3.5mg copper. This ok?

Do you mind if I take out a life insurance policy on you, with myself as the beneficiary?

I would recommend you check the ingredients to see how much actual Zinc the tablets contain. I wouldn't take more than about 50mg of elemental Zinc a day long term.

now I'm down to 4 pills of 50mg Zinc 2 pills multi mineral and 1 vitamin C.
it has cured my cystic acne but not my oily skin... washing with cold water has cured that for me.
peeple are trying to scare you or someting. above 2000mg is toxic. some peeple say they get stomac cramps above 100mg I never had that problem.

Above 100mg of elemental (actual Zinc not tablet weight) is where an average person starts to have problems where Zinc interferes with the immune system. It can also cause a copper imbalance and later on problems such as anaemia and so on. The more you take the worse it becomes. If you want to take that much then please feel free, it is your body but it certainly isn't advisable for you or anyone else to copy you.
Just so you are aware the Recommended Daily Amount to have a healthy body and prevent deficiency is 15mg so basically you were taking over 33 times the RDA.
