Tea Tree Oil is a powerful antiseptic.

Tea Tree oil products come in various forms. THese include neat (100% straight oil), liquid face wash, soap bar, face mask, etc. I use a 2.5% soap bar and it has been doing well. I used to use a tea tree liquid face wash when I was much yonger but I don't remember how that was.

You should be able to find Tea Tree products in health stores, natural product stores like Body Shop, etc.

DO NOT buy from the Body Shop - their tea tree products are crap - maybe 1% actual tea tree, and the rest is all filler.
Always look for "Guaranteed 36% Terpinen-4-ol" That's when you know that the oil actually HAS the antibacterial ingredients in it - Thursday Plantation makes a widely available one - just look for it in the health food stores.

thanks guys. I actually just went to Trader Joe's and picked up a little bottle of 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil. I also bought their Tea Trea face wash by Desert Essentials or something like that along with jojoba oil. Are these any good? How should I use them?

acnesux, if you do use that cleanser you wouldn't be on the regimen. to be on the regimen you have to follow it exactly. that includes using the recommended products. that being said, i do like 100% tea tree oil to spot treat.

right but I ment to use the bp gel actually right after the cleanser. How do you guys apply the cleanser though, those of you who have this one. Do you just rub it in until it disapears and then wash it off?
