I noticed that directions in the Regimen say to gently pat dry your face.

I have also noticed that the Retin A Directions say to Pat dry your face.

My Doctor has also said to pat dry your face.

Why is it so important to PAT dry your face and not to simply wipe the towel acorss your face?

Also, seeing that we are speaking on the washing instructions...

What temperature water is best to use when washing?

Hot, Cold, inbetween?

You want to be as gentle to your skin as possible, hense the pat drying. I pat dry the excess water off and then let it air dry the rest.

Warm water works for me. Too hot and makes me look blotchy. Too cold and it just doesn't feel clean. Although a splash of cold water at the end seems to be a popular choice.
