Melbourne is one of the rare five places in the world that gets its water supply from forests.

The purest in the world.

I am drinking more of this pure water to comply with the hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

No more Coca-cola.

No more acne

Make sure to take a lot of laxatives too because I've heard passing solid poop is a no-no. You want it liquid to stick with that all liquidy theme.

Okay. Good luck with that. Perhaps if it has actually worked you might actually want to have some proof.

P.S There's more you need to do if you want to comply with a ''hunter gatherer'' lifestyle, as I'm sure you're aware. Perhaps you should consider this too.

Water
Water helps the body flush out toxins and transport nutrients to the body. Drinking water puts less strain on the skin organ to flush out toxins. The recommended amount of water you should drink is at least half your bodyweight in ounces of water( a 140lb. individual should drink 70 ounces/day ). While water alone will not eliminate your acne it will greatly assist your skin in remaining healthy and that will be one portion of the pie in fighting acne.

FROM NATURAL ACNE CURE WEBSITE

Having said this, the quality of the water you drink is also crucial - if it is contaminated with chemicals or metals (such as lead) it will pollute your body and interfere with all of its processes. Unfortunately, the vast majorities of water supplies are contaminated and should be avoided. Instead, you should drink mineral water if you can afford it. Alternatively, use a good-quality water filter and change the filter regularly. Many companies now deliver mineral water or pure water in large 20-litre bottles, which can be an economical way of getting good-quality water for drinking and cooking.

We've heard it all before, water is needed for good health. We all use water, we drink a few glasses a day maybe, and take a shower or bath daily. The Sher System re-educates us in understanding how important water is to our general wellbeing and that of our skin. The Sher System uses water internally and externally. Combined with The Sher System's products, lashings of water are used to cleanse, protect and miraculously repair and rebalance the skin.

Drinking Pure Water

The facts are that most people do not drink enough water.

The World Health Organisation recommends that adults drink eight large glasses of water daily, but few people actually do and many people consider drinking tea, coffee or alcohol as part of their fluid intake (which do not hydrate, they dehydrate). Many people do not recognise that they are dehydrated and as people grow older, the symptoms become more difficult to identify.

Symptoms of lack of water intake include:

headaches

constipation

lethargy

lack of alertness and changes in mood

Some doctors and health gurus claim that not drinking enough water causes many of society's most common serious ailments, such as asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity. A dry or discoloured tongue and darker than normal urine are signs that you are dehydrated.

Each person loses six pints of water daily: a pint perspiring, two in breathing out and three in urine. Water is essential for the body to replace lost water, to cool and lubricate and to flush out waste and toxins.

Get Into the Habit

Drinking water in the morning flushes out the kidneys and regulates the bowels. Get into a habit of having a litre of water (preferably purified).

An easy way to incorporate good drinking water habits – have a glass of water as soon as you wake in the morning, always have a glass of water ½ hour before each meal and one ½ hour after each meal. Drinking water with your meal dilutes the digestive juices.

This method gives you a set time to drink your water – one glass on waking, two with breakfast, two with lunch, two with dinner – making 7 glasses a day. Perfect!

Northridge, Calif. -- The Charme Skincare System offers a safe, effective and gentle treatment for the soothing of many skin conditions with electrolyzed water. The chemical process of electrolysis breaks down the molecular structure of water or other electrolytes by separating negative ions and creating minute particles that can penetrate the skin's barrier. The low pH acidic water created by the electrolysis process ...

My favorite of Melbourne's near-retardation-caused quotes:

"The World Health Organisation recommends that adults drink eight large glasses of water daily".

The hell it does. The WHO does not make a blanket recommendation -- are you saying an adult man who's 6'6' and 240 lbs.' needs the same amount of water as a 5'1'' 90 lbs. woman? That was dumb.

I also like how he posted a press release from a company selling a product and using it as evidence. I can start my own company and claim suicide cures acne. Quoting it makes it no more right.

Melbourne's one of the "rare five places" that gets forest water? Yeah -- I was shocked when I heard the millions of people in the world (who have been documented to have acne) who live in rainforests pipe in water from Chicago.

"Some doctors and health gurus claim that not drinking enough water causes many of society's most common serious ailments, such as asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity. A dry or discoloured tongue and darker than normal urine are signs that you are dehydrated."

Name one doctor that says this. At a loss?

"Drinking water in the morning flushes out the kidneys and regulates the bowels. Get into a habit of having a litre of water (preferably purified)."

The kidneys don't need flushing. After being filtered, waste is IMMEDIATELY sent through the ureters into the bladder. The kidneys never have stale passing through.

"Symptoms of lack of water intake include:

headaches

constipation

lethargy

lack of alertness and changes in mood"

Sounds like... being sleepy. Great list.

OK you all win.

I will continue to drink pure forest water. Don't wan't to live in America with bad tempered acne sufferers

Where our water comes from

Melbourne's drinking water is highly regarded by the community. It comes from uninhabited mountain ash forests high up in the Yarra Ranges, east of Melbourne, where more than 140,000 hectares has been reserved for the primary purpose of harvesting water. Melbourne is one of only about five cities in the world that has such protected catchments.

Some 90 per cent of our water comes from these native forest, which catch, hold and filter rainwater as it flows across land and into streams and then reservoirs.

Within the spectacular giant mountain ash forests of the Central Highlands lie Melbourne’s water catchments, which provide drinking water to over 3 million Victorians.

Melbourne’s pristine drinking water is the envy of the world, however, the source of that water is being devastated by an intense logging regime. It’s time the Government protected our water supplies.

More than 140,000 hectares of natural forest around Melbourne have been set aside for the harvesting of water to supply the city. Dominated by the mountain ash, many of these catchments have been closed to public access for over 100 years. Because life in the forests has remained largely undisturbed, the incredible biodiversity of the ecosystem has been preserved.

Nature photographer Esther Beaton has collaborated with Dr David Lindenmayer, a renowned forest ecologist, to create Life in the Tall Eucalypt Forests. They have helped to produce a stunning, user-friendly photographic journey though the forests and the unique ecosystem therein.
