I've read many things about Tea Tree Oil being used as an aid for acne. I'm just wondering whether anyone has tried using it and if it helped any?

Also, anyone know where I can obtain some Tea Tree Oil or if you use any, where did you obtain yours and what brand was it?

I've bought tea tree oil from a couple of different places...once from GNC and the other from Trader Joe's. Both were from a brand called "Desert Essences" (I think).

I didn't have much luck with tea tree oil on its own--I found it too strong to spot treat with it and trying to make a diluted potion out of it didn't work. But I recently bought a tea tree oil face wash from the same company and it works GREAT...love it much better than any BP face washes.

I used tree tee oil in like a roll on stick applicator... It was very small, didnt last long, smelled bad and didnt do too much for me. It dried out my pimples/skin but it wasnt something I would use all the time. It was almost like putting alchohol on my face... i cant remeber the brand but this guy i was going out wtih bought it for me cause I always complain about my skin. lol

I have been using the Tea Tree oil face wash from Dessert Essence too . I bought it from Trader Joes this week. It is really clearing up my skin. I really like it.
