I have had a problem with acne for a while now. I have surface acne as well as cysts, and I am on prescription medication for it but its still not working as well as I would like. I have been vegetarian for 9 years and started going vegan a couple of weeks ago, so I feel like I'm definitely deficient in some vitamins that could maybe be causing some of my acne. I'm nervous to just start taking vitamins though because I don't know if it could make my skin worse. So what are some vitamins that help acne? Btw the only vitamin I take right now is zinc

Well as yor are probably aware, different vitamins/medications effect people differently. For example, someone take vitamin D might clear up dramatically, while someone else taking the same thing might develope even worse acne. It sucks, but it's pretty much a trial and error with your body. I believe I have found a vatamin that has helped me tremendously. I take 50mg of Zinc every day. I've searched other reviews from others who have taken zinc for acne and they have also received great results too. Zinc helps balance out your body chemicals, which may be your cause. Good luck!
