My doctor prescribed me 2 months of the Tetralysal tablets and they were working fine but then I had to ask for a repeat prescription. My mum  went to collect it from the doctors and collected the tablets from the pharmacy and they  gave her Actavis lymecycline tablets.

Are these the same as the Tetralysal tablets? They look different and I have only been taking them for a few days, but have already broken out in 2 large spots. However, I  have no idea if this has anything to do with the Actavis lymecycline tablets I am now taking.

Would appreciate any advice.

Yeah they're the exact same active ingredient. Probably, as you were mentioning, nothing to do with the Actavis lymecycline tablets.

Remember not to take them with milk, because that can decrease absorption.
