I don't know if it's from the tetracycline causing your skin to be more sensitive but it looks like you may have acne+rosacea. The tetracycline should help, I would drop the argan oil though. Also, you should apply a sunscreen daily, should help reduce the redness. And you are right, your acne does not look bad in the pictures! If your skin can't tolerate the BP then a topical antibiotic like clindamycin may help.

Lol there is no sun where you live???

Where do you live?

I think your skin looks fine! Looks like sensitivity to benzol peroxide, though you said you're using tetracyklin now. From the photos, it doesn't look like you need an antibiotic. It doesn't seem like you have any acne pustules, cysts, or blackheads.

I would not use a sunscreen until your skin is under control. Find a gentle moisturizer to use, and lay off the harsh chemicals!

Good luck!

Gentle natural cleanser, non-medicated moisturizer and letting your skin heal for a few weeks followed by adding 1 non-harsh treatment to your routine might help. My skin used to look like yours before I started picking and over treating: honestly, it's looking pretty good, but like it needs a rest. I wear sunscreen every day of the year that I go outside (and I live in a very dark place) because I've used a lot of harsh treatments over the years and don't trust my skin's natural resistance. It's also good for preventing premature ageing apparently.

Currently clear of acne with the occasional hormonal breakout. Check out my routines and progress updates here:

Your skin is gold right now. You got better skin then most people here. Tetracycline is preventing breakouts. I'd stick to bp and a cetaphil moisturizer. Bp fade those red marks. Remember red mark takes time to fade. Red marks are better to have then pimples. Temporary solutions is hiding them with a concealer.

Hey emilovik,

I am also 16. I don't know what you think about your skin, but your skin looks very good. The only thing I can suggest is that you moisturise your skin two times a day, morning and night. Use sunscreen while outside. You look good and I know the girls love you. wub.png
