*First post yay*

So, I've been struggling with acne for quite some time now (since 7th grade, dealt with til now, freshmen in college). I've seen many dermatologists, taken accutane, et cetera.  Accutane seemed to end all it (clear skin, missing it as I type this), but after a month of not on it, my acne came back to where it left off. That was in the begining of 12th grade so fast foward a year.  I'm in a stage where I have a few pimples/zits/acne patches scattered on my forehead, temples, chin, and neck, but it's under control(?).  It's not the acne itself that's bothering me; it's the redness.  Even after consulting with professional doctors and such, I'm not good at identifying what kind of redness/scarring/acne I have.

In short; I need help identifying what I have on my face currently and steps to reduce my redness and/or acne. I've tried almost everything (oatmeal honey mask, accutane, honey on face, omega 3s [seems to blow my face up], aloe vera) but it just doesn't seem to work (minus the accutane but the side effects were killer).  I would greatly appreciate any help as I'm just about done looking like a pizza. sad.png

I have both acne and rosacea. It doesn't look like rosacea. It just looks like a lot of pigmentation from the acne.

Check out this thread. There is a lot of evidence to support the idea. I have been following the recommendations for a short while, and it seems to have helped my skin heal post-acne.

This is very new to me.  Any links of products that you use (as well as how you apply them).  I would greatly appreciate the help.
