I've ordered the AHA+ cream from acne.org to start the regimen and I chose to order that instead of the other regular cream because I have red scarring and hoped that would help. But now I'm second guessing my decision. Do you use the AHA cream as your regular cream? Or should it be used sparingly? If it's sparing, how often do you use it?

Current Process:

Wash with Acne.org wash

Treat with BenzaClin (5% BP 1% Clindamycin)

Moisturize with CeraVe

Wash with Acne.org wash

Treat with Retin-A

Moisturize with CeraVe and Acne.org AHA+ blend

AHA cream isn't mild enough to use as a moisturiser, especially when you are using BP. I've only been using the BP for 3 days  but I couldn't put AHA cream on my face at all right now it's that sensitive. Maybe after I've been using this for a while my skin will toughen up but I definitely wouldn't use it as moisturiser.

I use it about every other night. Its not recommend to use in the mornings because of the photosensitivity. I think you can eventually work up to using it every night, in place of a moisturizer, if you really like what it does.

Do not use the AHA when starting the regimen. It will burn and hurt and turn your face so red. Use a really good moisturizer and maybe after you first month, once your skin has gotten used to the BP, you can try once or twice a week to use the AHA as an evening moisturizer. But never use the AHA instead of a moisturizer.

Morning Routine:
- CLEANSER: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser/Acne.org Cleanser
- BENZOYL PEROXIDE : 1 pump of The Acne.org 2.5%
- MOISTURIZER: CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion + 5-6 drops of Acne.org Jojoba Oil
Evening Routine:
- CLEANSER: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser/Acne.org Cleanser
- BENZOYL PEROXIDE : 1 pump of The Acne.org 2.5%
- MOISTURIZER: Cetaphil Moilturizing Lotion/Cream + Acne.org AHA + 5-6 drops of Acne.org Jojoba Oil
- Concealer: MAC Studio Finish Concealer in C25

                    NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
- Pressed Powder: MAC Select Sheer in NC20

The Balm Sexy Mama Translucent Power

Smashbox Photoset Pressed Power in Light
- Foundation: Revlon Colorstay for Oily/Combination Skin in Buff

Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fuide in Cashew

- Tinted Moisturizer: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude
- Scrub: St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control (twice a week in the AM)

- Eyecream: Clinique All About Eyes
- Medication: Diane 35
                     Meftormin 500mg (for PCOS)
- Supplements: Vitamin D3 (1000UI/day) --- Started 5/16/2013
                         Zinc (50mg/day) --- Started 5/16/2013
And this is all done as gently as possible. smile.png
