Hi everyone, I'm new here.

I'm on my 3rd week of Accutane and I'm taking 40mg 2x a day.

I tried Accutane for the first time maybe 5 years ago and my skin went back to it's normal oily state after I got off it.  Hopefully this time around is permanent.  I've tried everything out there...all the 'cyclines, and nothing seemed to help except for Doxycycline, but as many of you know, there's been a shortage of that and it's been crazy expensive.  (Accutane is expensive too...but I'm hoping it fixes my troubled skin)

So far, I just have itchy dry sking, chapped lips, and weakness with no energy.  I tried bench pressing yesterday and I could barely do anything...total muscle fatigue.

Hmm, I guess everybody's body is different, but I haven't had any problems lifting weights or working out (knock on wood). Although, I'm not trying to lift anything hard core either.

I'm currently taking Accutane for the first time and I have been on it about 3 weeks.

The book says to call the doc right away if I experience muscle weakness as it "could be a sign of serious muscle damage."  Ugh, I'll call tomorrow.
