Good, then I'll remove mine too as my sarcasm has served its purpose.

Just don't forget that with acne, we all have a choice on how much we want to let it affect us.

Will it put some potential romantic partners out of our league? Sure.

Will we have to pay more attention to cleaning and maintaining our skin? Yep.

Will we be more self conscious and appearance oriented? Good chance.

But does it take away the ability to have fun? To find companionship? To have a successful career? Or to do the things we like to do?

No.

I shall grace your thread with a real reply. The effects are the following: antisocial, sadness, anger, bitterness, envy, not really giving a sh!t about much.

I think thats a good idea of what the mental effects are, i didnt read your original post but if you were just giving your opinion about it dont be ashamed of it. Plenty of people have disagreed with me here on the forums yet i stay true to my conclusions.

If people dont like were you are coming from then just agree to disagree, but dont turn your back on your beliefs.

You shall grace this thread with a real reply?!?!?!?

Coming from the leader of the poor me party himself; how fortunate enough.

Let's get a thing or two straight. You see the world through a warped lense, fatalalbert. You think the world hates you for your acne, and you continually post how terrible your life is because you have acne.

If you want to throw away your life and become nothing more than a waste of God given life, they by all means do it. Some people just can't be helped.

But at the same time here, we have someone that may not have chosen the dull, depressing, worrisome outlook you have. Everyone gets bummed out everyone now and then, and most eventually come to terms with thier problem and make the best of it. I believe this guy had the same sort of epiphany.

And now you're trying to suck him back into that sort of depression? Why? What is wrong with you? Misery loves company I guess.

But either way, I really don't care. All I can do is try and provide some advice on how to deal with acne and and enjoy life more. Whether or not you take that advice is your choice.

But to say that you "grace" this thread with your special breed of bull**** is rediculous. I advice anyone reading this to search FatalAlbert's history and see if his words sound like someone's that you'd want to follow.

Your words are cancerous, fatalalbert. Everyone gets depressed every now and then, but you take it to an unhealthy level.

And the real kicker? YOU DON'T HAVE ACNE. The pictures you had posted show literally ZERO pimples on your face. I'd say you should have a psych evaluation before you do anything else.

People never cease to amaze me. Some with their brilliance, others with their ignorance. eusa_think.gif

Choice does not exist on the social level. If everything is going the way you wish to see it going, then you are just lucky. I have bad luck and now I have Cluster A.

You know I think we all want the same thing. To help ourselves and others. I took my post down because I thought my theorizing, which has no scientific basis, might bother a vulnerable person. So let's lay off the angry talk if possible. I think this board is great and I wish it had been available when I was a teenager.

lol I was just being funny about the whole gracing thing. But really, mostly everything I've posted has been for a reason. It's not like iv made any of it up, it's all true I like to try and keep my threads authentic. The things I talk about are real to me and other too I'd bet. My lenses are fine, in fact my views are the logical result of what has been going on. There was nothing good about having acne not one thing, so why should that lead to a positive view?

When did feeling bad about a bad thing become strange? Lol, I'm not trying to get anyone one on "my side" chances are they are already there. I just tell it like it is. I know some people may not be able to handle truth & I completely understand that.

Asking a person with bad acne to be happy is like asking them to win the lottery. It's just not probable, that's why I think you are the one with the problem might as well ask a disfigured man to cheer up oh wait.....

I have never said a person can't live with it, but it just sucks when it's hard just to be who you are.survival is hard enough add to that the challenge of just being you... uh yeah nothing positive from that bud.

Also my acne has mostly gone away yes, but the dark marks discoloured skin & large pores remain.

All someone has to do is search through the posts you've made to see what I'm referring to.

This one is a fantastic example http://www.acne.org/...e/#entry3371694

I won't be addressing this anymore.

I like that thread because I feel it cuts the crap & tells the real side of things. If to no one else, it's still real to me..
