Is weight gain a sign that a leaky gut is healing? I'm suspecting I have leaky gut due to various symptoms, and I don't think my body was able to absorb nutrients from food or vitamins....I looked malnourished even though I was eating all the "right" foods in decent amounts. Since I started a low histamine diet a few months ago, along with regularly eating sweet potatoes, taking digestive enzymes, selenium & vitamin E, and sometimes vitamin C, I noticed that I have put on a few pounds. Could this mean that my gut is healing, since I am able to gain weight?I also look a bit healthier I think, but I still get some mucus in my stools (sorry for the TMI) which is usually a sign of candida so I don't think the issues are completely gone.

Supplements: inositol, DIM, digestive enzymes [don't need them every day anymore, only on cheat days], herpanacine & vitamin C with rose hips [not every day], regular sun exposure for vitamin D3.

Lifestyle & Skin Care: Low histamine diet, avoiding unnecessary stress, balancing skin's PH (using Image Ormedics), using distilled/ filtered water to wash face, occasional high frequency facials... (although I have been slacking lately)

** Find the cause, find the cure **
