Sugar causes inflammation. Sweets are amongst the most inflammatory foods you can ingest. This sets off a whole chain of events in your body and long story short, it adversely affects your skin, especially acne prone skin.

Stick with organic sugars from fruit. Everything else is simply unnatural to our bodies so the chances of the body reacting to it are VERY high because it wants to detox the toxins.
