So recently i've bought finacea (gel) for AM and stieva-A (cream based) for PM

and was wondering how long after applying should i wait before applying moisturiser to maximise effectiveness

Hey xxkinachixx123,

 

The combination of azelaic acid (Finacea) and Steiva-A (tretinoin) in the same therapy can definitely cause some intense irritation/redness/dryness/etc. so integrating a lot of moisturizer is a good call. As Finacea is a gel, waiting for it to dry (5-10 min) should suffice. Regarding the Steiva-A you can actually premix the moisturizer and cream in your hand before applying it. This will help reduce irritation from the start and won't negatively affect the effectiveness of the tretinoin. *Moderator edit, URL removed – please read the board rules*
