Aloe Vera

5 posts in this topic

Hey guys, new here. I've had pretty bad acne for about 2 years now. Just recently, it has been doing okay I guess, I won't go and tell you guys my whole story but I've just recently heard about using Aloe Vera for acne and scarring. My scarring is pretty bad so I figured I'd use it and it'd help my acne out too since that isn't doing too well either. And well, after using it at night for a week now, it's made my face just break out pretty bad, and it keeps breaking out with new surprises every morning.

And anyway, my question is this just part of the "getting worse before getting better" saying? Would you guys keep using it?

I want you to read my post 'change your life' in the general discussions area! I highly recommend aloevera.

As for the getting worse before better.. Definitely!

Aloevera likes to absorb oil and gunk out of your skin, and will bring out a lot of whiteheads! dont pop these, let the aloe do its job and pop them or make them roll out on their own for minimal scarring.

Iit may seem like you are breaking out, when really it's just bringing to the surface all the problem areas and acne under the skin! Aloe Vera around problem areas will also protect you from cysts as it sucks out puss deep in the skin.

Keep on using it!

The health of your blood is displayed and on show for everyone by your face.

Don't make half deals with 'Accutane' to thin out the dirty blood, because once the course is finished, acne will come racing back! Don't spend money and time treating it topically either.

Realize that it comes from the stuff flowing under your skin and how healthy it really is!

Get to the core of the problem, cleanse your blood and say goodbye to acne!

Are you using just pure aloe vera or what product are you using?

Mild/Moderate all-over acne from adolescence into adulthood.

Currently: CLEAR! At least 99% most of the time since using more natural and non-irritating products.

I may get a couple pimples/tiny whiteheads every now and then but I can deal with that from where I've been. i finally have clear days!

Currently combating red marks, overall facial redness, and damage possibly from all of the acne products I have tried.

I have tried: tons of SA and commercial face washes, tons of more natural face washes and topicals, BP, ProActive, Differin, Benzaclin, Oil Cleansing Method

Burt's Bees Sensitive Cleanser (PM only)

Brightening Toner - water, witch hazel, lemon juice, grapeseed/sunflower oils, tea tree oil (I buy ingredients and mix myself)

Desert Essence Daily Essential Facial Moisturizer
