I was wondering what age your acne was the worst. I am only 14 and have had acne like someone in their late teens. I already have some scars, but I can't keep thinking what my face will look like once I am done with puberty and how bad it really going to get. All my face needs is a fu*king break to let my acne calm down. I am the only person in my entire school with bad skin. I just wish there somebody I can relate with.

I'm 14 too and last year was my worst. I had unbelievable breakouts and cysts and it just started getting better 6 months ago. However my acne is horrible and I'm left with hundreds of red marks and scars. I know what it's like going through the hallways staring at people's beautiful clear skin.

Whenever I talk to someone they just stare at my acne. It makes me want to punch them in the face. I know what you're going through, you're never alone. :)

When I was 16-17. I'm 19 now, but when it was time for me to graduate high school, I cried. A lot. Those pictures of me from graduation are disgusting to me. They make me cry so much. My face looked like a pizza. Now, its better, but not clear. wacko.png

I'm only saying that because I used to think my acne was horrible and now it's just awful, looking back what I thought was horrible wasn't so bad.

20-21 from eating too much cola, sugar and junk food. Worse acne comes after mild acne. If you get your mild acne under control you won't see the worst.

My acne was the worst when I was 12, and let me tell you, I was literally THE ONLY one of my friends with acne. I remember at sleepovers I wanted to hide from everybody because I looked hideous with my disgusting zits and everyone else had perfectly clear, smooth, beautiful, glowing skin, and I looked like a f*cking pizza. Seriously, my friends could just not wash their faces for weeks on end, and their skin would be a thousand times more beautiful than mine. I felt like part of my childhood had been stolen from me, because no 12 year old deserves this - let alone anybody.

I would look in the mirror and want to cry because I felt really ugly and alone - like there was nobody else who understood what I was going through. People would try to give me advice like "Oh, wash your face more," which made me very angry because I mean, obviously don't you think I've already done that?

Luckily I figured things out and I feel much more confident now,  all though people may look at me and say, "You're skin's so clear why do you worry?" I think, 'Because if I don't worry, it won't be."

Trust me, you're not alone.

When I was about 20 I started getting cystic acne all over my face. Worst thing ever!! The ones on my jaw line were the worst. They were red, inflammed and too painful to even consider popping.

Dairy can worsen Eczema, there's very few good evidence to suggest that it truly aggravates acne. There are more factors involved in acne then diet and hormones. Immune system function, faulty genetics ect. are the other factors.

I always had acne (though now at 24 I've grown out of it) but back in 2007 when by diet was the absolute healthiest my acne turned into a cystic strain and was absolutely out of control. No doctor or naturalpath could explain this either, it was completely unknown why it suddenly became so severe at the time. It made no sense to me or anyone else.
