My Clear Skin Regimen Diary (With Pictures)

I also have a much more detailed topic in the general acne discussion page if you want to check it out. Basically I will be posting updates here of my new regimen because it has cleared up most of my acne.

This is my current regimen:

Morning -

1. Wash with my cleanser (Clearasil Ultra Wash and Mask)

2. Moisturise (Natio Calming Moisturising Day Cream Gel)

Night -

1. Wash with my cleanser (Clearasil Ultra Wash and Mask)

2. Moisturise with (Natio Calming Moisturising Day Cream Gel)

3. Occasionally spot treat with (Oxy 5 Vanishing Cream)

4. Take one capsule of (Fusion Medicine Liver Tonic)

Monthly -

1. Take one 50,000 IU Vitamin D supplement (Same date, every month - Preferably at the beginning)

Congratulations on clearing your skin :) the results are really impressive, glad you've shared your widsom!

Just a quick question, did you start using all the regimen products at the same time? I'm wondering if you could attribute your success to any product in particular?

Well I guess it doesn't matter so much, if the combination is working then no point trying to mess with it!

Also is it safe to take so much vitamin d? Just wondering because I've started taking d3 daily and here in the UK we are advised not to exceed 1,000IU a day, is it different in Australia?

Ok so today my skin is somewhat healing from the extremely minor breakout that I got because of my monthly "you know what".

So I had about 9 micro mini pimples and 1 big whitehead which dissapeared farely quickly than usual. Back before I started this regimen it would take like 2 weeks just for it to go down. It only took within a week for it to go down. Now I just also wanted to say that I am a bit unsure as to why I got a break out; it could be because I got my 'thing' or it could be because I thought I was a smart ass one night and washed my face with nizoral 1% in the shower :/ but until my next 'thing' I wont know for sure. In the meantime I wont wash my face with any other shit other than what I am already doing.

BREAKING OUT

Okay so bad news is that I am breaking out! Good news is that it is nowhere close to how I used to breakout in the past with clusters of closed comedones everywhere that was so very hard to get rid of! Now I feel that my breakout is slightly normal! (best way I could put it!)

I am convinced that it is not due to my regimen and I am 110% sure about that. I now know why I am breaking out and I blame it entirely upon ....... LACK OF SLEEP AND STRESS!!!!!!!!!!! for the past 2 weeks I have been stressing about my final exams for Uni and because of that I have not been sleeping well. I now go to sleep around 5am and wake up around 2pm. Even though I am getting the right amount of sleep, I am still not asleep at the right time a normal human being sleeps.! Before my stressing time I usually slept anywhere between 10pm-1am and wake up around 9am - 11am. I am certain now that my acne is caused by lack of sleep and stress.

I have attached pictures of my skin taken just an hour ago. Be mindful that I have a lot of redness from past acne and so it's really not as bad as you see in the pictures.

Ok so i just finished my exams today so my stress levels have only just become normal again lol! I'll post back in a few days to see whether the stress levels contributed to my breakout. Currently I have broken out with small pimples but mainly on my left cheek (as always) the right cheek seems to be normal.
