Big Pores And Red Marks Ruining My Life

5 posts in this topic

I've had acne since high school and now have finally gotten rid of it. Problem is that I'm left with these horrendous scars and enlarged pores.

I want to cry sometimes because I hate it so much. Are there any natural ways to make pores appear smaller and for the red marks to disappear? I like to go makeup free sometimes (depending on where I'm actually going) but most of this time I'm worrying about people seeing how awful and nasty my face looks.

I hate this so much and it is the 100% cause of me being overly self conscious.

you could trying putting ice on your face to help close the pores temporarily.

ive been using aloe vera oil for my red marks, and using honey as a mask/cleanser

both seem to be helping.

i also do the taping method followed by an apple cider vinegar toner, every now and then

used to do it every night and it really helped, but then i got lazy, but i know for a fact it helped cause my skin still looks lighter.

Diluted lemon juice can tighten pores and reduce red marks, you should try it.

I would just use natural stuff for now. Mix vitamin c powder with pure glycerin and let it sit on the skin for 10 minutes. These can both be found at any drugstore. One teaspoon of vitamin c powder and one tablespoon of pure vegetable glycerin mixed forms a skin lighting serum that will moisturize as its lighting.

During the winter you should start using glycolic acid chemical peels. They're not as scary as they sound. I've done many at home chemical peels with great results.
