Hi guys,

So I've been 95% clear for quite a while now from taking Accutane last year (I know, I know) and I've stayed clear with a combo of Spiro and Sprintec BCPs. I've also been a vegan for three weeks, and my skin looked great until a few days ago, when I had a minor breakout on my chin, and my eczema came back after not having it for years, and my hands are all crusty and scabby from it. I've also noticed my nose has been kind of oily, and I haven't had oily skin since my first week of Accutane. I've been doing some research, and I've heard quite a bit about "leaky gut" on this site, and I was wondering if this could be my problem? I've been wondering if this is why my chin still has the same cluster of pimples on my chin that I can't remember ever not having, even while on Accutane. It's really frustrating. How would I know if I had a leaky gut? I know there's a guide on this forum, but can anyone give me an overview/general tips for healing/personal experience? Thank you!

You! Yes, you. The one reading this. You are beautiful, talented, amazing and simply the best at being you. Never forget that.

You don't have to be pretty. You don't owe prettiness to anyone. Not to you boyfriend/spouse/partner. Not to your coworkers, especially not to random men on the street. You don't owe it to your mother, you don't owe it to your children, you don't owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked "female."

Plea to the world: Eat less meat! Or better yet, don't eat it at all! The meat industry violates basic animal rights, it's destroying our planet, and there are so many health benefits you can gain by decreasing/eliminating meat from your diet. Don't let me tell you- do your own research so you can decide for yourself. (The dairy and egg industries are just as horrendous).

I highly recommend watching the movie Earthlings. ^
