Diet And Oily Skin

4 posts in this topic

Have any of you guys tried altering your diet to treat your oily skin (such as low glycemic load)? There are quite a few people on the diet and holistic health board who have reported success with eliminating their oily skin just by changing what they eat. I haven't tried yet, but will be in the near future.

I ate low glycemic load for years without any decrease in oil. But you should still try it since it's good for you anyway.

How I Stay Clear:

  • Accutane 5mg/day
  • Probiotics 25 billion organisms/day
  • Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser 2x/day

I'm on an elimination diet right now that is very close to the Paleo diet. I only just started this week but I will post in a month or so if I see any positive results.
