I have been applying ACV diluted 1:1 on my skin before bed for about 2 months now. I started 1 ACV:2 Water but it did not seem to have any effect so I ramped it up.

During the first month of ACV 1:1, I saw improvements in my skin; skin was glowing, pimples shrunk overnight etc. However, after that first month, I started breaking out in places that I never broke out before. I occasionally have pimples on my cheeks, cheekbone area as well as my jawline. However, my forehead is now breaking out in huge pimples which I have never encountered before. My usually smaller sized breakouts on my cheeks are now big!

I have no idea if this is supposed to happen, i.e. gunk being cleansed from my pores as I have terribly oily skin. While the pimples still do shrink, the outbreaks that are happening at the same time I fear will cause my face to never clear as I have many post acne marks(no scars thankfully).

Anyone with similar experiences? Should I stop applying ACV?

Similar thing happened to me. ACV at first worked pretty well, then 2 months in it stopped working and actually made me broke out more. I stopped using it immediately. Now I'm convinced it was just placebo effects.

I thought I could finally find a cure. Looks like I should stop ACV too.. only making my skin irritated.

ACV worked for me though it did not cure my acne, I am was using 1/3 ACV, 1/3 Witch Hazel Extract, 1/3 Filtered Water. I am not going back to using SA which did not nothing for me except made my skin sun sensitive.

Acv I think is breaking me out on my forehead too! Should I continue using it? Its only been about a month. It is helping my scars fade though. Do I really need a toner?

You should use only very little ACV and dilute it with brewed green tea. It's purpose is to restore normal ph after washing.

Do you suggest one part acv to three parts green tea? How long would this last before it went bad if I premake this mixture and save it?
