Acne Result Of Karma?

12 posts in this topic

I remember being in secondary school (high school). i was the kid who was flawless i didn't have any marks on any part of my body what so ever and I was very vein. One day I realised that I had a microscopic bump on my forehead, so I immediately ran to a friend who had severe acne saying look at how horrible my bump was just to make myself feel better about it while knowing that his acne was 100 times worst than my one insignificant bump. Another incident was when I was in an argument with my sister who had moderate acne at the time. I said 'well look at your face with all the spots' even after I said the comment I immediately regretted it because I saw the look on her face and a lump immediately came down my throat. Please bare in mind that I was only about 14-15 around the time that these incidents occurred and I didn't really think I was doing much wrong. When I turned 16 I began to develop acne. Having acne is a curse and a blessing I now know that I will never ever try and put someone down about any problems they are having with any parts of there bodies even after my acne has cleared. I believe I would still be ignorant and vein to people suffering if I didn't experience acne for myself. So I can now say I am cured from being vein and ignorant, so I feel like I have become a better Human. Thanks for reading :)

I don't believe it's down to karma.

I've never been nasty to people about how they look and that was before my face looked ripped apart.

I know a lot of arrogant assholes who have been mean and nasty to really good people their entire lives who have perfect skin. So no its not karma.

No its because of your brain. Your brain tells you to gorge on junk food, your brain tells you to over masturbate, your brain tells you to pick..reasons of my acne

Life is always about learning from your mistakes, acne is not karma it's a stupid disease that really makes you think and be more self conscious about how you look and how you look at others. I'm glad that your being honest and regretting how you treated your friend/sister before because that shows true character. Keep being true and honest and stay on that same path. And good karma will come to you. And btw to the people that don't suffer from acne it is luck.

No I don't believe its because of karma. If so i have no idea what i did in the first 10 years of my life to get acne at age 11. I guess the good thing about getting acne so young is that i've never known what its like to have completely clear skin as a teen. i can only look back at younger photos of me in my childhood when i didn't have acne but i don't feel that comparison of how i used to look to how vs how i look now with acne that other teens get if they get acne in their mid to late teens. I believe its just genetics.
