I have mild-moderate late-onset adult hormonal acne (mouthful, I know...)

I have been reading about grapeseed oil, and how it's supposed to be good for hormonal acne.

has anyone tried this? If so, how did you use it? did it work?

How long before you saw results?

I am trying so hard to keep my hormonal acne at bay, without taking anymore pills (already on BCPs...don't want to take oral antibiotics).

So...yeah. Grapeseed Oil... How 'bout it? :)

I no longer have acne after I tried a herbal remedy but I still have some red marks and read this oil was good for them. not sure about the acne but keep that in mind if you are left with red spots. i may try this because I'm liking using non chemical things on and in my body.

can I asked what herbal remedy you used to clear your skin?

and yes I've read wonderful things about what grapeseed oil can do for marks/scars leftover from acne. But I've also heard it's good for active breakouts as well.

I've been taking a grape seed extract tablet 100mg 1 to 2 times a day and I'm not sure if it's due to this or other things I have been doing but my skin has not been breaking out as badly, maybe 1 to 2 pimples over the past month and I used to get a cyst after my period and that didn't happen this time.

I used grapeseed oil as a moisturizer for a while.  It does lighten marks and even skin tone over time but I found it too astringent which made my skin feel too tight.  If you want to try it maybe just use it once a day or mix it with a moisturizer to avaid the tight feeling.  It did not seem to clear my acne , but it did not seem to cause new spots.

I tried everything but at the end it was a natural 100% herbal remedy that just took it way in 2 weeks (I had acne REALLY BAD!).

The herbs are the best way forward and trust me they are much more effective then people give them credit for. Saying that there is a lot of rubbish on the market. So what i'm saying the real deal is really good. In fact I have recommended it to my friends and family over the past 14 years and they have all benefitted from it also. Worked for everyone so far and its 100% safe and no side effects.

Oh recently I also hear it takes away the scaring also and the acne no matter how bad.
