Are Some Forms Of Acne Possibly Psychosomatic?

Stress management definitely helps, but it may not completely cure acne. Personally, I find that my acne gets out of control when my stress levels are high and when I am feeling depressed, so I do believe that it is partially psychologically-driven. Acne increases stress too, which doesn't help the situation. Keep us updated on your progress, I wish everyone could act as if they had no acne, it would alleviate a lot of stress for sure

inositol, DIM [had to stop for now, don't seem to need them anymore!], digestive enzymes [don't need them every day anymore, only on cheat days], herpanacine & vitamin C with rose hips [not every day], regular sun exposure for vitamin D3, superoxide dismutase (SOD) enzyme supplements, magnesium citrate.
Lifestyle & Skin Care: Low histamine diet, avoiding unnecessary stress, balancing skin's PH (using Image Ormedics), using distilled/ filtered water to wash face, occasional high frequency facials...

I agree with WishClean. Also if stress is YOUR CAUSE, then of course it can help.
I think it always helps to be optimistic and have a positive outlook on life.
When I did have acne,
some of the things i used to do were:
When I went to the bathroom, I washed my face in a semi-lit place. I didn't turn on the lights, but had a nightlight in there... lol
Also, I hung out with friends at night mostly because no lighting really... =)
Anddd the less I looked at it, the better it made me feel.
I also did things that made me happy such as listen to music, taking my dog for a walk, go swimming, showering, eating, and sleeping(!)
oh and cleaning for some weird reason because i'm really messy. Keep your mind occupied, and be surrounded by people that don't care. I chose my dog because animals don't care what you look like as long as you feed them and show them some love.

It's a chicken and egg thing.
Stress plays into your endocrine system. Your endocrine system plays into stress.
This is why depression is best treated with both meds and therapy. You have to sort out the chemical imbalance while also teaching the brain to stop reinforcing the depression.
Yeah, stress definitely plays into acne, but personally I think if your body erupts in acne every time you get minorly stressed, you've got a problem in the endocrine system you need to fix. It is simply impossible to live a stress-free lifestyle. Stress is a part of life. Unless you have family members dying every day or something, your body should be able to handle a bit of stress without erupting in pus lesions.
Just getting my skin clear through meds has removed one of the biggest stressors in my life, so...yeah.
