I had moderate acne on face and back. The doctor extracted all of them, performed 3 light chemical peels on back and face and prescribed me 20mg accutane on the first visit before light peel. I heard its not safe to use chemical peels WHILE on accutane but my dermat does not agree. I've been given Vitamin C, Green Tea supplements. What to do? My acne is completely under control now. No new pimples.

Is there much point in the peel then? Personally I would avoid messing with my skin & just complete the Accutane course. Sounds like it's worked really well for you.

Yes, I have some minor scars on cheeks. Is it advisiable to do a very light peel?

I would just do the peels after you've finished your Accutane course. It's advisable to treat the acne first, and then the scarring, once the acne is gone entirely.
